- The filling was amazing. Tasting it before making the bread part of the cinnamon roll was slightly dangerous.
- The biscuit dough was not exciting at all in terms of flavor or consistency. We have better recipes that could probably be adapted to this use.
- The rolls did look pretty once they were baked, but the dough was a bit resistant to rolling out to the specified thinness. I think the yeast dough is more cooperative.
- Next time, I might just make whole-wheat bread or biscuits or muffins and use the filling for these rolls as a topping instead. It would be easier and the bread would taste better.
- A cinnamon roll is not the most well-balanced lunch, but it certainly tastes good!
