This one is inspired by the MFT weekly sketch challenge, and by the need to use up another piece of triangle paper. Perhaps the last landscape-orientation strip of triangles will find its purpose in life between Tuesday's Zoom meetings.

A simple-ish Christmas card, using the last of the gold stripey paper. Just a few more smallish pieces of paper left from the 6x6 stack!
Using an odd fragment in the use-it-up challenge, this card turned out better than expected. The heart and "THANKFUL" came from the coordinating 12x12 paper pad, and a few pearls never went amiss! "So" came from a Stephanie Barnard die set. I die-cut the word twice and the shadow once for a little depth of character.
The layer cake cards had this much of each sheet left over. These pieces just looked like bookmarks, so that is what they have become! I have two nieces and two nephews who live a few miles away and have a lot of extra reading time right now, so these will be put to good use.
A looser interpretation of the sketch than the previous card, but it should still work. The silver foil paper and "winter wishes" element came from a Martha Stewart Christmas paper pad that was surprisingly inexpensive on Amazon. And a few sparkles never go amiss!
Hero Arts suggested a theme of Encouragement, so I flipped through my (excessive) supply of patterned paper and found a 12" x 12" page with this sentiment in one corner. This image really did not need much embellishment to make a pretty card, so I mounted it with foam tape on a pink card base, traced the word "Everything" with a Wink of Stella glitter pen to make it more sparkly, and added a few pearls. Hopefully this card is an encouragement to look for the good things, even when circumstances are difficult.
Things really have been different recently. For example, I made this card on the first day of a new sketch challenge! It was fun to use different colors and a different style of card than usual. For an MFT challenge, this card uses a diverse assortment of dies: music notes and bird from a Lawn Fawn set, the triangles from Spellbinders, and the ticket frame and "tweet" sentiment from Sizzix collections.
Another Tuesday-morning last-minute challenge entry complete!
Vanilla cake, baked and decorated by Abigail (with a little assistance from her auntie and MOMO). It tasted really good! Chocolate cupcakes, baked by the author, frosted by MOMO, embellished by Caleb. These ones earned five-star reviews as well!
I really liked this gingerbread cookie paper, so kept the rest of the card fairly simple. I did add a few sparkles to some of the cookies with my Wink of Stella brush pen, but it is hard to see them in the photograph.
