We learned that we will be resurrected, just like Jesus was. We used a gloves to represent our bodies and our hands to represent our spirits, and discussed how our body only works when our spirit is in it. When we die, our spirits leave our bodies. When we are resurrected, our spirits and bodies will be reunited and will never be separated again. We are thankful for our bodies and that we will live forever!
We ended the lesson by coloring self-portraits. One of the children drew himself in a monster costume. . .because we will still be able to play dress-up when we are immortal!
